Founded by Chairman Steve Quincey in 1988, STV is an industry leader in building services for residential and commercial properties in Greater London and the South East. We work with local authorities, housing associations and principal contractors on major multi-site rolling programmes to deliver a complete multi-trade and management service.
STV has a large, approved workforce, comprising of a 22-strong management HQ team and a total of 250 site staff including skilled specialists from all key trades, as well as project managers, mechanical and electrical engineers and a full time health and safety manager. Our vast experience and unique operations management system enables us to deliver programmes on time, in budget and to the highest professional standard.
STV is now managed by Steve Quincey’s son, Mason Quincey. Mason’s years with STV began at site level assisting trades-people and learning all aspects of social housing refurbishment works. There followed ten years’ hands-on experience, including a year’s placement at an American-based blue-chip construction firm.
Together with his sister Gabriella and a dynamic new management team, Mason has brought fresh ideas and a new direction to the company. During 2010, the company saw a 98% increase in turnover, from £4.2 million to £8.3 million – resulting in the company being selected as a finalist in the Construction News Specialist Awards for Business Growth. And with growth for 2011 projected to increase by a further 50%, STV is on course to becoming the lead residential and commercial property contractor for London and the South East.
Having outgrown its Hornchurch–based offices, STV is soon to be taking occupancy of Easter Park, its new HQ in Rainham, marking a new chapter in the proud history of the company.
